Each glass is handmade on the Venetian island of Murano, renowned for its glassmaking for centuries. The glasses show the handmade process in each aspect, including the bottoms, where the attachment to the punty is left visible. A black opaque base is patterned with non-uniform ochre coloured stripes. The lip of the glasses are shaped to include small divots, providing places for your fingers, and a slightly flared pentagon shaped lip.
